Application Process

Who can participate?
Participation in the conference is limited to those doctoral students who are accepted to present a research paper at the conference. Application for presenting a research paper at the conference is by invitation only.

What are the requirements for the research paper?
We are looking for high-quality, original working papers formatted in accordance with the subject field's standard. All submissions are subject to a competitive review process, so only the best papers will be retained for the conference.

What stage in the PhD Programme are students expected to be in?
Most of the students attending the Conference are in their third year or beyond. While there is no specific year requirement, attendees are expected to present non-preliminary research. Please note that a draft of the final paper is required to be submitted by April 10, 2014

How do I apply?
Invited doctoral students are required to submit the following by February 2, 2014
- Online application; and
- An electronic copy of a complete research paper that will be used to evaluate submissions. Please note that the format of the paper should follow that of one of the leading journals in your respective field.

The conference committee will notify applicants of their acceptance to the conference after March 1, 2014. Accepted students are required to confirm their attendance via email to tadc-info@london.edu by April 1, 2014. You will also be requested to submit an electronic copy of your photo for the inclusion in the conference brochure. Please note that failing to confirm the attendance by this date will result in a withdrawal of the invitation. If you indicate in your application that you require a visa to travel to the UK, you will be sent a letter of invitation shortly after your acceptance to the conference to expedite your visa application process.
